DTU is a partner of the Danang Youth Informatics Contest

From May 19th to 21st, the 19th Danang Youth Informatics Contest was a great opportunity for students to demonstrate their talents.
 
With 664 contestants, the contest was the biggest ever, with 333 from primary schools, 202 from high schools and 129 from universities, submitting 158 software projects and 25 hardware development. 
 
 DTU provides excellent facilities and presents awards

As co-organizer and with its experience successfully organizing national and international contests, DTU guaranteed the finest facilities for the contest, providing seven examination rooms with computer systems, internet connections and spacious rooms with modern projection and presentation equipment.
 
Throughout the contest, DTU technical staff monitored the examination rooms and advised on technical issues, so that contestants could compete confidently. Tran Le Thang Dong and Dang Ngoc Sy were the judges of the Most Outstanding Innovative Software section. They are young scientists who are highly experienced in both mainstream research and in the development technological projects.
 
To encourage further research activity, DTU awarded prizes with a value of 50 million VND. The university is committed to support the education of talented local IT students.
 
As a technical consultant, DTU has helped high school students in Danang and Quang Nam province win prizes at the 2015-2016 National Science and Technology Contest. The university teamed up with the Danang Department of Education and Training to organize the 2015-2016 National VI Olympic contest in Mathematics online. Recently DTU encouraged high school students to study hard to pass the upcoming High Graduation Exam and awarded 48 scholarships worth 48 million VND to clever, underprivileged 12th grade students in Quang Nam province.
