Seventeen contestants in the Vietnam Youth collection wore traditional Ao Dai dresses, designed by Tam Tran, to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

Another “Ao Dai” collection, named “Danang, City of the Flying Dragon” by costume designer Tam Tran lit up the stage of the Truong Vuong Theatre. The concept was based on the Lotus flower, the Dragon, the Unicorn, the Tortoise, the Phoenix and the four bridges of Danang, together with the DTU logo and mascot, to portray the parallel development of DTU and Danang.
