Dr. Le Nguyen Bao, DTU Vice Provost, visits the Silver Swallow Studio
Currently, the Silver Swallow Studio is focusing on the production of an historical documentary about air warfare in Northern Vietnam in the years 1965–1972. It will contain historical 3D reconstructions in the opening episode, entitled “When the Silver Swallow Goes to War”. Leading the team for this project is French director Raphael Didierjean. Concerning his decision to “enlist” with the Silver Swallow Studio, Manager Anthony Vu says, “I have 15 years of experience in the US on television, movies, music clips projects, and so on. I find that Vietnam has a great deal of potential to develop its film industry to international standards, saving much on cost at the same time. Since I came back to Vietnam two years ago, I have worked in several different environments. Coming to DTU, I was really impressed with the dynamic and modern environment and the continuous attention and investment from the university leadership. That is the reason I want to stay at DTU, contributing my expertise and experience to the development of the university.”
