On September 27th, the Danang Department of Labor Invalids and Social Affairs hosted an awards ceremony at the 2014 Vocational Teachers’ Festival at the Danang Vocational College. Twelve DTU lecturers won one first, one second, two third and three consolation prizes and entered the Top 5 to attend the National Vocational Teachers’ Festival.

Held every two years, the festival aims to share experiences and promote teaching skills to develop teacher competency. Fifty-seven teachers and lecturers attended the 2014 festival from fifteen local vocational schools. The jury praised the performance of the twelve DTU lecturers. Ms. Nguyen Tran Thuy An won a first prize in Reception Skills and entered the Top 5 to attend the National Vocational Teachers’ Festival.

Ms. An said:
“To succeed we have worked hard and received strong support and encouragement from DTU. DTU has provided me with special assistance to perfect my lectures.”
DTU attended the event for the first time and won many awards, making a significant contribution to improving the quality of professional education in Danang.
