An offline meeting entitled “Welcome New 2013 DTU Students”,
was held in Danang Square on the morning of October 27th. In groups
of four, students from different faculties, including K19 freshmen, played many
exciting games together.

After playing games, the students enjoyed a communal lunch together. Phan Nhat
Quang of K19 XDD said: “This offline meeting is really useful and
informative for freshmen. I have had the chance to learn more about the DTU
Forum and make new friends, which will help me in my studies at DTU.” Ta
Thi Bich Thuy of K19 KKT4 said:” New students come from different provinces
and haven’t had time to make new friends yet, we still find everything quite intimidating.
However, events of this type help us boost our confidence and energy levels, providing
a good opportunity for me to improve my communication skills.”
The offline meeting ended with lots of fun and good feelings about student life
at DTU.
