The Opening Ceremony of the Eighth DTU Postgraduate Course

More students are pursuing further education at well-known universities. Duy Tan University has been a destination for them, thanks to its excellent postgraduate programs and innovative programs adopted United States. On May 26th, the eighth postgraduate course, from 2013 to 2015, was officially launched by the DTU Postgraduate School. 

Attendees included Professor Le Duc Toan - DTU Vice - Provost and Dean of the DTU Postgraduate School, Dr. Ho Van Nhan - Vice - Dean of the DTU Postgraduate School, Mr. Nguyen Gia Nhu - Vice - Dean of the DTU Postgraduate School, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Lam - Dean of DTU Civil Engineering and 115 enrollees.

On behalf of the DTU Board of Provosts, Dr. Ho Van Nhan announced the DTU’s acceptance of 115 students to the program. 76 students registered for Business Administration, 19 for Computer Sciences and 20 for Accounting.

Professor Le Duc Toan said: “On behalf of DTU, I congratulate all of you for passing the postgraduate entrance exam. Over 19 years of development, DTU is much honored to be the first and the biggest private university in the Central Region. We offer a multi-level, multi-disciplined education. DTU has steadily improved the curricula, partnering with other countries and focused on providing students gain more practical experience. Hopefully, our 115 new postgraduates will work hard to gain powerful achievements”.

Mr. Nguyen Gia Nhu introduced the subjects, schedules and answered questions on the programs, study methods and ways of accelerating their studies. It will take two years to earn a Master’s degree. However, the program may be completed in one-and-a-half years if certain requirements are met.

At the ceremony, a representative of the eighth postgraduate course presented flowers to the new students. Mr. Tran Chi Cuong, a new student said: “It is my honor to be a student at DTU, a famous university. I would like to thank DTU Board of Provosts and DTU faculty for providing us the best study conditions to pursue the program. We will work hard for high achievements. Recently, DTU has been approved by MOET to offer PhD programs in Business Administration. This will create even more opportunity for students to gain higher qualifications and business experience”.
