“The Team of Doctors” was the name put by spectators on the new champions of the 2012 DTU Mini Football Tournament, held on April 28 at the Tuyen Son Sports Center.

Despite the hot weather of 35 C, lots of spectators came to support the DTU players. The presence of Mr. Le Cong Co, DTU Chairman and Rector, was also a great encouragement for the teams.
The 90 minutes of the final match was particularly exciting when the KT-QTKD team was forced to pay for their carelessness by sacrificing two goals in the very first minutes of the first half. However, in the fiftieth minute, KT-QTKD scored two goals to even the score at 2-2. Eventually however, “The Team of Doctors” had better strategy and teamwork to defeat KT-QTKD 4-3.
On behalf of DTU Board of Rectors, Mr. Le Cong Co presented a cup and medals to the new champions and the third runner up of tournament. All in all, thirty-four teams all shared the spirit of fair play as they had the opportunity to compete with each other.
