DTU Introduces New MBA Courses

DTU officially announced new MBA course offerings at a ceremony held on 19th November, 2011. Attendees included Associate Professor Le Duc Toan, Vice-Rector Nguyen Huu Phu, Mr. Nguyen Gia Nhu, Dr. Ho Nguyen Khoa and students.

According to a report by the DTU Post-Graduate Department, 128 of the 142 applicants passed the entrance exam. Dr. Le Duc Toan said: “DTU is one of the few private universities authorized by MOET to offer graduate courses. DTU’s MBA courses follow the standards of American universities, significantly improving the academic quality of education in Vietnam”.

One of the new students, Mr.Ho Minh Loi, said: “We are all proud to become part of the new program. DTU is famous for its well-equipped campuses, highly-qualified teachers and state-of-the-art-teaching methods. Post-graduate courses such as these ideally meet the increasing demands of graduates like myself”.

New students interested in Business Administration and Accounting can select the most suitable program for themselves. Information Technology students will study under the joint program with Carnegie Mellon University. A new postgraduate program in Civil Engineering will also be offered in February, 2012 and DTU will collaborate with universities in Denmark and the US to establish internationally-oriented MBA courses.

The DTU Post-Graduate Department was established in 2009 with three major programs, in Computer Science, Business Administration and Accounting. The initial class of students will graduate this December.
