Twelve students reached the final round of the “The King and Queen” contest. They had to participate in three sections: fancy dress, a talent contest and an interview. They dressed up as beautiful princesses and charming princes, such as Cinderella, a Roman Prince, a Geisha or the Au Co Mother. The quality of the performances was so good that it was difficult for the judges to choose the winners. Eventually, Truong Thu Hang (K15NAB1) and Nguyen Le Tri Thinh (K17NCD2) were voted King and Queen of the evening.

The audience also enjoyed a special horror costume contest. A series of bizarre characters, including skeletons, witches, pirates and ghosts appeared on stage, accompanied by horrible sounds that frightened everyone.

Nguyen Thi Yen Na, a K17 student said: “This is my first Halloween Night. I am really impressed by such great performances”.

This event was a good opportunity for DTU students get to know more about Halloween, a traditional custom in Western countries.
