A ceremony was held on June 23rd to kick
off the “Green Summer Campaign 2011”. Over 70 members of the Duy Tan Communist Youth Union, representatives of the
Board of Directors, the Party Committee and the Trade Union took part.
Based on the theme “The Duy Tan Youth and
Community”, Mr. Pham Dang Quang, Secretary of the Communist Youth Union, emphasized
the significance of the campaign, to inspire a spirit of humility and volunteerism
amongst the participants. To complete the mission, As well as organizing
musical productions and other community activities, the volunteers will also build
a 300 meter concrete road in Hamlet 1 in the Hoa Ninh Commune, Hoa Vang
District and gift two houses for poor families. At the ceremony, Mr. Ngo Van
Dung, the Deputy Secretary of DTU Party Committee, stated that the success of
this campaign stems from the energy and enthusiasm of all members.
At the end of the ceremony, campaign participants
departed on their happy journey to Hoa Ninh Commune, ignited by the spirit of the
“Green Summer Campaign 2011”.
