The DTU Social Sciences & Humanities Faculty Graduates the First Fifty Students

On the morning of 7th June, 2011, the DTU Social Sciences & Humanity Faculty held its first graduation ceremony for 58 students. The attendees were Dr. Le Duc Toan, DTU Vice Rector, Mr. Nguyen Vu Minh Tri, Dean of the faculty, and the students.

Among the 58 students, 7 graduated in Vietnamese Studies and 51 in Literature. “As our faculty was established four years ago, these were our first graduates. We believe that they have great ability to now contribute to the development of our country”, said Mr. Nguyen Thanh Khanh, the Deputy Dean.

Established in 2007, the DTU Social Sciences & Humanities department has 200 students majoring in Literature, International Relations and Vietnamese Studies. In the future, more majors, such as Literature-Journalism, Culture-Tourism, Economic Laws, etc. will be introduced. Students interested in those fields can apply for enrollment in 2011.
