At the opening ceremony, DTU’s volunteers met with the managers of Hope Village and the orphans. Miss Kieu Oanh, a student of K145NAD said: “Everyone of us can choose for ourselves a way to become a good member of society. We love all of the orphans here and want to help them in their studies. Hopefully, through this volunteer teaching program, we can have a good time together and they will become outstanding citizens”. After that, everyone enjoyed some delightful performances and games. The bright smiles on the orphans’ faces brought a feeling of love and joy to Hope Village.

This volunteer teaching program will start on November 8th 2010 with the participation of more than thirty DTU volunteers. The classes will be held on weekday evenings. DTU’s volunteers will help the orphans from the 7th to the 12th grade to do their homework and prepare for Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature and English lessons. The program is scheduled to end in the summer of 2011.
