It is aimed at providing the reader with accurate, trustworthy, complete, and verifiable information on the situation of international publications of many Vietnamese higher education institutions from 2017 to mid-2018 (data were downloaded on June 30, 2018)...

SCImago has just announced their 2020 Institution Rankings. DTU was ranked 10th in Vietnam, and 752nd out of 7,026 institutions worldwide. DTU would actually rank 6th in Vietnam if only universities were included. The SIR classification ranks academic and research-related institutions using an indicator combining sets of three different indicators, research performance (50%)...

All the other universities in the Vietnamese top ten in January 2020 are still included and all have made impressive increases in Vietnam and the world. Ton Duc Thang University is up 504 places to become third in Vietnam and 1,818th worldwide. Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City went up 223 places, and Can Tho University 57.

Since 2009, SCImago, a well-known ranking service in Spain, has assessed universities and other research-oriented institutions internationally. This year, Duy Tan University was ranked eighth in Vietnam and came 736 out of 7,533 establishments worldwide...
