The Opening of the 28th Master’s and the 14th Doctoral programs

On Feb 17th, DTU held the opening ceremony of the 28th Master’s and 14th Doctoral programs. Attendees included Dr. Vo Thanh Hai, DTU Vice-Provost; Deans, DTU lecturers and 47 new Master's and PhD students.

Dr. Vo Thanh Hai, DTU Vice-Provost, recognized the determination of the prospective students to study diligently and said: “The year 2024 marks an important milestone for DTU as it celebrates its 30th anniversary. While 30 years might not seem like a long journey for a university, DTU has achieved significant accomplishments comparable to those of institutions with centuries of history, which is a source of pride and admiration. DTU has always been aware of the critical role of research and education in driving societal and national development. Therefore, the University focuses on investing in building facilities, technology, infrastructure, and quality, advanced training programs to provide the best for its students. DTU commits to creating the most favorable conditions for its students and researchers throughout their courses. Hopefully, the knowledge and enhanced skills gained at DTU will further advance your careers in the future.”

Five doctoral candidates and forty-two master's students have been successfully admitted to this DTU postgraduate training session. This is an impressive number, reflecting the attractiveness and reputation of the DTU postgraduate programs.  
 
Dr. Nguyen Cong Minh, Head of the DTU Postgraduate Department, introduced the curriculum, training duration, and addressed the students' inquiries related to the courses, including the possibility of accelerating their studies to shorten the duration of the program. The standard duration for a Master's program is 2 years, but students may complete their studies in 1.5 years if they fulfill all the program's requirements.
 
DTU is one of the leading universities in the Central Highlands region in particular and the country in general, known for its quality in teaching and research. Annually, the university's postgraduate and doctoral programs attract significant interest and enrollment from many students and professionals looking to advance their careers in academia and research.
