On May 12, the DTU School of Foreign Languages & Social Humanities held its first Student Research conference, to encourage students to apply their knowledge in solving practical everyday problems, enhance their ability to work both in teams and independently, and their capacity for self-study and independent research,

“One of our strengths is that DTU focuses equally on teaching and research,” said DTU Vice-Provost Dr. Nguyen Huu Phu. “For the School of Foreign Languages & Social Humanities students, today’s research conference will be a great source of encouragement, and also motivate our lecturers to promote even more practical research projects. On behalf of the DTU, I want to thank our lecturers and students for their hard work organizing this conference and the speakers who attended the plenary session. In addition to its objective of improving education  through research, the conference will foster the ability of students to conduct their own independent research, and, at the same time, enhance their creativity and autonomy in their studies.”
