The Final round of the International Information Security competition

The final round of the International Information Security competition took place on December 13 at DTU, with the participation of 12 teams from universities and business nationwide. After 10 hours, the Zepto Team from National Cyber Security Center at the NCSC won first prize, with 3,466 points.

This is the third year that the annual competition has been held at DTU by the Information Security team, for students and related businesses contestants nationwide. The online qualifying round lasted 36 hours, from October 10 to 11.  
 
 
Associate Professor Nguyen Gia Nhu, Dean of the DTU Computer Science School, said: “Nowadays, Information Technology has become an integral part of our lives as it continues expand in Vietnam. All users with private networks and databases must secure them thoroughly, because breaches can leave networks open to intrusion from outsiders. The proper training and improved awareness are vital, so today’s contest will allow you to gain more practical knowledge and international experience.”
 
The Zepto Team wins first prize 
 
The Efiens team from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology won second prize, with 2,933, and the Nupakachi team from the Hanoi University of Technology came third with 2,589. Consolation prizes were awarded to the 45 Seconds, Steam and Uetctf teams for the best write-ups.
