Dr. Le Nguyen Bao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and DTU Provost, stated that the successful completion of objectives during the previous term was due to strong leadership and close cooperation between the Party Committee, the University Council and Board of Provosts, as well as the enthusiasm and responsiveness of the dynamic Party Executive Committee branch members, university lecturers and students. The timely advice and direction of the Hai Chau district Party Committee was equally appreciated.

In the 2015-2020 term, the university graduated 25,928 PhDs, Masters, Bachelors, engineers and architects, with 95.4% of graduates finding employment within one year. DTU has consistently improved its partnerships with well-known educational institutions worldwide to introduce 13 advanced international programs. Of note, DTU is the only private university to enter the top five Vietnamese research universities in consecutive years. The university now employs 1,226 lecturers and staff, with 843 PhDs.

Mr. Le Anh, Deputy-Secretary and Chairman of People’s Committee of the Hai Chau District, congratulated DTU on its impressive achievements during 2015-2020. In 2019, the government honored DTU with a first-class Labor Order and the Hai Chau District Party Committee has recognized the University for its strength in carrying out its Party duties each year. Mr. Le Anh expects that the DTU Party Committee will become even stronger and achieve significant accomplishments over the next five-year term. The DTU Party Committee will also work to build a strong Duy Tan Education Group to work to become a member of the top 400 Asian universities.
