An Agreement with Namseoul University in Korea

On January 19th, DTU signed an agreement with Namseoul University (NSU) in Korea. Attendees included Professor Koh Seong Hee, Head of the University of Creative Korea, Glass Sculpture Group at NSU; Professor Lee Yong Phill, lecturer and Head of the University of Creative Korea, Glass Sculpture Outstanding Group at NSU;  Mr. Nguyen Duc Man, Head of the DTU International School; and Mr. Nguyen Huy Phuoc, Director of the DTU Global Student Exchange Office.

Professor Hee talked about Namseoul University and a potential relationship with DTU. “Namseoul University has invested in Glass Sculpture Design. The DTU Faculty of Architecture offers an Interior Design and Architecture course, so today’s agreement will allow DTU students to improve their crafting skills through exchange programs with Namseoul University. I am sure that we will broaden our partnership in the near future.”

Under the agreement, seminars will be held to plan the development of cooperative research in fields of mutual interest, occasional lectures will be given at DTU, and lecturers, students and materials will be exchanged.

Established in 1993, Namseoul University is a private institution located in Cheonan, South Chungcheong in Korea, with 1,000 lecturers and staff and state-of-the-art training facilities to meet the increasing demands of the 15,000 Korean and 200 international students, 50 of whom are Vietnamese.
