Commercial Specialists from the British Embassy in Hanoi and the Consulate in HCMC visit DTU

On November 8th, Associate Professor Le Duc Toan, DTU Vice-Provost, Dr. Phan Thanh Hai, Dean of the DTU Faculty of Accounting and a representative from the DTU Center for Business Cooperation and Technology Transfer met with Ms. Vu Lan Anh and Ms. Ho Thi Kim Phuong, commercial specialists from the British Embassy in Hanoi and the Consulate in HCMC. 
 
The British Embassy in Vietnam wants to help DTU bridge with universities in the UK

Associate Professor Le Duc Toan talked about the international partnership strategy that DTU has been focusing on over the years. Currently DTU partners with Coventry University in the UK to offer students a 3+1 study-abroad program in Corporate Finance, Business Administration, Hotel and Tourism Management, IT, Software Engineering and Information Systems.

Associate Professor Le Duc Toan hoped that the British Embassy would help DTU connect with some universities in the UK and suggested some potential activities between the two countries, including the exchange of students and lecturers, joint research projects and seminars.  

Ms. Vu Lan Anh thanked DTU for its warm welcome and said: “As far as I know, international collaborations are one of DTU’s strongest points. Your international standard programs are highly regarded and DTU graduates have deeply impressed local businesses. We entrust well-known universities like DTU to enhance educational partnerships between our two countries.” She affirmed that the British Embassy was ready to help DTU bridge with universities in the UK.

Associate Professor Le Duc Toan praised the goodwill of the British Embassy in Vietnam and expected the university to sign agreements with their British counterparts very soon.
