On August 27th, DTU and eSilicon Vietnam announced the Sunflower Mission Scholarship Program. Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT and Software Engineering students are eligible for the scholarships. Ten DTU students were awarded Sunflower Mission scholarships worth $300 up to now.

Representatives of eSilicon Vietnam in Danang explained details of the Sunflower Mission scholarship program and how to apply for internships and jobs at the company. They talked about chip design, the manufacturing process, testing and the roles of the IT professionals there.
In 2016-2017, sixty scholarships worth $300 each will be awarded to students from 7 universities in Ho Chi Minh City and two in Danang, including DTU. Two DTU students were granted Sunflower Mission scholarships in 2015-2016.
