DTU Teaches Informatics at the Ngu Hanh Son High School

On April 10th, the DTU Informatics Center began teaching an Informatics course to fifty teachers and staff at the Ngu Hanh Son High School in Danang. Mr. Tran Dat Ngu Hanh, the Principal, Mr. Dang Ngoc Trung, Director of the DTU Enrollment and Media Center and the DTU Informatics Center attended the opening.

Mr. Trung and his staff briefly introduced the course, which will be taught by DTU at high schools in Danang and Central Region, edicted by the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Information and Communications.

Under the instruction of the DTU Informatics Center, the two-month course will provide participants with the necessary skills, including a basic knowledge of computers and IT, Microsoft Word, Excel and Access, how to prepare a computerized teaching plan with Microsoft PowerPoint and other tools. Participants are provided with free materials and awarded certificates of completion.

Founded in 2003, the DTU Informatics Center serves government agencies and educational institutions in Danang. Graduates become proficient in the application of popular software products at the end of the course.
