DTU Takes Part in the First Review Meeting of ASEAN LeX Program

The first review meeting of the LeX program took place from the 18th to 21st of January at the Singapore Polytechnic University. Twelve ASEAN universities and colleges attended. The objective was, after four years, to review the progress of the LeX program in each country. The Ideas and suggestions of the DTU delegation were greatly appreciated.

After surveying students who took part in the LeX program, representatives shared their experiences about the knowledge and skills gained through the program. They also discussed the deficiencies of the program and ways of overcoming them to make it more attractive and useful.

Mr. Nguyen Huy Phuoc, a DTU coordinator of LeX, said: “Many issues were clarified at the meeting and solutions were suggested to improve the program. I believe that LeX will gain the participation of many more students in the future and prove to be a valuable experience.” 

Interesting activities were held for the country representatives to get to know each other better. Meanwhile, DTU has establishing other exchange programs to enable students    to integrate more confidently into the ASEAN community.
