The 2013 December Graduation Ceremony

DTU held the 2013 graduation ceremony on December 1st. Attendees included Dr. Vo Thanh Hai, DTU Vice-Provost, Deans of Faculties, Directors of Centers, and many graduates and parents.
 
At the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Phi Son, Head of Academic Affairs, announced the decisions of the DTU Provosts to grant Bachelor, Associate degrees and Certificates of Merit to K15 students of 2009-2013. In particular, there were 686 and 168 graduates in Undergraduate and Associate Bachelor’s degree programs respectively. The three K15 students who achieved the best results in International Relations, Environmental Technology and Electrical Engineering were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Board of Provosts.

Dr. Vo Thanh Hai said: “The socio-economic situation over the past few years has presented many disadvantages and challenges, so most graduates worry about their employment. Consequently, DTU has cooperated with many local companies to bring students more and more employment opportunities, so that they can feel more comfortable in studying and practicing for their future careers. The knowledge and skills you have accumulated at DTU will be the foundation for making you more confident and stronger in your future careers. DTU will always care and looks after you. Your success will contribute to your lecturer’s happiness and pride and also to DTU’s success in education.”

Nguyen Thi Thanh Loan of K15KMT, a representative of all of the graduates said: “We will have many strong memories of DTU over the past four years. The dynamic and friendly study environment and the enthusiastic lecturers have helped us to improve and enhance our knowledge and skills to prepare for our future careers. In the future, wherever we may go, whatever we may do, we will always try our best to succeed in order to reciprocate the education and care that we have received from our lecturers and DTU.”

Equipped with this knowledge, new DTU graduates will be confident enough to overcome future disadvantages and challenges and contribute to our national development.
