The opening ceremony of first Mini-Football Tournament for private universities and colleges in Danang was held on April 16th at the Culture Labor Sports stadium. The sporting event was jointly organized by the DTU Trade Union, The Danang Labor Association and local private universities and colleges, with the objective of enhancing relations with each other.

Seven football teams from Lac Viet College, Dong Du College, Phuong Dong College, the Danang University of Architecture, Dong A University, the Polytechnic College and Duy Tan University participated in the football tournament. They were divided into two groups. After the opening ceremony, three matches between the Polytechnic College and Phuong Dong College, Dong A University and Dong Du College and Duy Tan University and Lac Viet College kicked off.
The DTU football team played very well in the first match. They defeated Lac Viet College 5-1.
These spectacular football matches, with their spirit of fair play and teamwork, promise more exciting events in the future.
