A workshop entitled “Teaching English at Duy Tan University” was held by DTU Foreign Language Department (DFL) on the 22nd of December, with the objective of expanding peoples’ interest in English. Attendees included the DTU Board of Rectors and representatives from local travel agencies, translation companies, local high schools and DTU.
The main focus was about the basics of teaching of English, providing an opportunity for DTU to enhance its relationships with its counterparts.

Opening the workshop, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Minh, DTU Vice-Rector said: “Together with our expanding partnerships with prestigious universities, DTU has held a number of workshops and seminars. Many of the graduates of the DTU Foreign Language Department have been successful in several different fields”.

Presentations by representatives from the IHG Plaza Hotel, Mitdafa and DFL lecturers offered several approaches to teaching English. DFL students impressed the audience with their fluent English presentations.
A long-term partnership agreement was also signed by DTU and Mitdafa.
