To commemorate the 66th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnamese People’s Army (22/12/1944 - 22/12/2010), on Dec 22nd, 2010, the Duy Tan University Union held a meeting with veterans who are currently lecturers, staff or students at DTU.
Mr. Le Cong Co, President of DTU and Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh, Chairman of the DTU Union, hosted over 50 faculty members.

The veterans reviewed the glorious tradition of the Vietnam Army over the past 65 years, sharing unforgettable memories of army life. Even today, veterans are still playing a significant role in the security and development of Vietnam.
On behalf of the Board of Provosts, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Minh conveyed his best wishes to the veterans. Mr. Minh also recognized their contributions in the development of DTU. He called on them to continue to promote the qualities of "Uncle Ho's Soldier", the spirit of unity, synergy and shared experiences, and to continue to offer their special contributions to the future growth and educational development at DTU.
