In the morning of 27th March 2009, the Youth Union of Duy Tan University associated with Danang Youth Association, held “Blood Donation Day” 1st period 2009 at Hall A - 209 Phan Thanh, Danang city. The activity attracted a great participation of students in the university. The students were in turn examined blood and donated it with the good attitude and high sense of responsibility.
At the programme, 394 units of blood was collected from 450 students. This precious and significant present will be sent to unfortunate patients who have a great need of blood at local hospitals.
This is one of the meaningful charitable campaigns of Duy Tan University’s students in order to contribute to the shortage blood amount in the Blood Banks at present, meeting the increasing need of blood for patients. At the same time, this activity presents the humanitarian aid and responsibility of the youth in general and DTU’s students in particular.
