DTU Enrolls IT Students

Information Technology is having a sweeping impact on Vietnam during times of global integration and the 4.0 Industrial Revolution. IT studies at DTU have become increasingly popular because of the many promising career opportunities. DTU continues to enroll to meet current demands in:

- Software Engineering

- Network Security/ Network Engineering

- Graphic Design//Game/Multimedia

+ Advanced international programs from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), one of the leading American universities in IT are:

Since it was founded 25 years ago, DTU has aimed to develop into an electronic university and has since grown into an institution that successfully fulfills its task in educating and graduating high-quality IT resources into the community, and 94% of them find jobs immediately.

Depending on their qualifications, applicants can choose from two admissions formulae:

- Based on High School Graduation Exam scores with the following subject sets:

1.Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry (A00)

2. Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Literature (A16)

3. Literature, Mathematics, Physics (C01)

4. Literature, Mathematics, English (D01)

- Based on 12th grade transcript with the following subject sets:

1. Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry (A00)

2. Literature, Mathematics, Physics (C01)

3. Literature, Mathematics, Chemistry (C02)

4. Literature, Mathematics, English (D01)

- Direct enrollment: based on 2019 MoET admission procedures and university policy.

In 2019 season, DTU continues to award preferential scholarships to students of Information Technology

- DTU Scholarships: 720 scholarships worth from one to five million dong each for applicants with a total High Graduation Exam three-subject score three to ten points higher than the admissions minimum.

- 700 Scholarships: from 500,000 to 2 million dong for applicants with a high school transcript score of 22 or above.

- 39 Full scholarships: 100% of tuition fee, with total value of 3 billion dong, for applicants to the advanced and international CMU, with a total High School Graduation Exam three-subject score of 23 or above.

- Fifteen scholarships from Boeing (US) worth 20 million dong each for applicants to the advanced and international CMU programs

- Ten scholarships from DTU worth 5 million dong each for CMU standard programs

- Talent scholarships: (full or partial): 215 scholarships with a total value of 11 billion dong, including Big Data & Machine Learning (HP) applicants, with high school graduation scores of 20 or higher.

- A 15% reduction in first-year tuition fees for 50 applicants in Embedded Systems

- A 10% reduction in first-year tuition fees for 50 applicants in Embedded Systems

- Students from Quang Tri, Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, Nghe An and Thanh Hoa will each be awarded 1 million dong if they enroll in Embedded Systems.

- Scholarships worth 5 million dong each for first-year students who obtained a consolation prize in a National Excellent Student contest or in a National Science & Technology contest.
